 In year 2004 we were awarded the BASC Certification as Integral Logistics P&S, with which the US government seeks to guarantee control and safety of shipments sent to their country, with the aim of avoiding smuggling, illegal drug trade and terrorism.
This certificate will be a requirement to enter the US from now on, not only for exporters but also to all those operators involved in foreign trade logistics.
As recommended by the US Embassy at Peru, the DEA and the US Customs Service, the Program “Business Anti-Smuggling Coalition – BASC” has been in effect since December 1997, creating the Peruvian Chapter named: "BASC-PERU". |
To assure compliance with all international standards and procedures as regards Control and Security Management for foreign trade transactions; this task was entrusted to BASC PERU on behalf of the US Customs Service.
