Resulting from the merger of Entrecanales Távora, Cubiertas and MZOV, ACCIONA inherited from the originating companies a philosophy based upon sustainability, quality, cost-effectiveness and technical accuracy of their works. In 2005, the Group’s sales raised to €4,853 millions. ACCIONA develops and manages infrastructures and services for customers shared among the different business units , as well as a project management philosophy targeted at maximizing cost-effectiveness. ACCIONA INFRAESTRUCTURAS leads the Building and Real Estate areas, and ACCIONA ENERGÍA that of Renewable Energies. It’s worth mentioning the Airport and Freight Forwarding areas, covered by ACCIONA SERVICIOS, as well as Urban and Environmental services and hospital concessions. It’s about a homogeneous corporate presence integrated by business units of high added value, where cost-effectiveness and sustainability prevail to dimension.  Acciona Forwarding is a provider of complete transport services for passengers and merchandise by land, sea and air. Today, Acciona is one of the greatest Logistics and International Transport companies in Europe and stands out globally, not only due to their revenues but also because of their freight volume. It works side by side with: Trasmediterránea, a leader in the Spanish market on a national scale, as regards the transport of passengers and freight by sea; and Airport Services, which offers Airport management services and "handling" (airport ground services) in Spain and Germany.
